Insider's View of Problem-Solving Criminal Courts

There are more than twenty problem-solving courts in Cook County. These courts handle defendants facing problems ranging from mental health issues to drug addiction. Many of these people would otherwise be incarcerated and returned to the community without receiving necessary treatment. This program explores the theory behind these specialized courts and gives insight on the practice of these programs. Panelists: Hon.
