Cook County Circuit Court Walk Through: Practicing as a New Lawyer

Learning your way around the Circuit Court should not have to be a trying experience. The YLS will host a Court Walk Through especially designed for new admittees to the Illinois Bar. This walk through is an informative introduction to its practice and procedures. Presenters will address the nuts and bolts of practice in the Court and provide a tour of the clerk's and sheriff's offices that will help explain the procedures for both filing and service of process. Added this year is a speaker from the motion section of the Law Division, where new litigators spend a lot of time.
